In our mission to uplift marginalized communities, SA Foundation has launched a Skill Development Program for Women in Bustan, Umerkot — empowering women to become confident contributors to society.
The program includes:
Tailoring and embroidery classes
Basic business training
Islamic guidance on women’s rights and responsibilities
Mentorship from experienced trainers and social workers
So far, 30+ women from low-income households have enrolled. Many of them are now sewing clothes at home and earning income, some for the very first time. The initiative not only strengthens their financial independence but boosts their self-worth.
This effort plants the seed of self-reliance and generational impact — as empowered mothers raise empowered children.
